# Welcome

Welcome to the Coasys Litepaper, which provides a summarized, high-level overview. For a more in-depth scope, feel free to also read our [**Whitepaper**](https://coasys.org/whitepaper.pdf) and review our [**source code**](https://github.com/coasys)**.**

### Vision

Coasys aims to make a contribution to the public’s capacity to sense-make as a collective by providing the infrastructure for an open, interoperable web, as well as the tools to improve our ability to find and share reliable information and coordinate effectively at any scale or complexity.  By doing so, it tries to approach the meta-crisis with pragmatic technological upgrades to our society's digital communication infrastructure.

More specifically, Coasys has spent the past several years building a new, interoperable internet layer with social networking capacities called [**ADAM**](/coasys-litepaper/the-adam-layer.md)[ ](/coasys-litepaper/the-adam-layer.md)as well as a decentralized Discord-like platform on top of ADAM called [**Flux**](/coasys-litepaper/flux.md), and is now introducing the [**Synergy Engine**](/coasys-litepaper/synergy-engine.md) and [**Token**](/coasys-litepaper/synergyfuel.md).
